Blood tests, organised and explained.

Getting ready.
Some tests, such as fasting glucose or some cholesterol tests, need you to fast for 8 to 12 hours, with water only. Others need a specific time of day, or need you to stop or keep taking a medicine.
Your GP will tell you exactly what to do. Drink water beforehand to make collection easier.
