How can we help?

The things reception is asked most often, and the quickest way to sort each one out.

  1. Book online through HotDoc at any hour, or call reception on (02) 6543 8424 from 8:00am, Monday to Friday. We are an appointment-based practice, and reception will do their best to fit you in if something cannot wait. If you need to cancel or you are running late, please call as early as you can so the time can go to someone else. Book online (opens HotDoc in a new tab)

  2. Results are discussed with your GP. Call reception to check whether your results are back, or book a follow-up appointment to go through them.

  3. Repeat scripts and referrals need a consultation, so your GP can review your care. Book a standard appointment, or a telehealth appointment if a visit in person is not needed.

  4. Moving to Aberdeen Surgery? Ask reception and we will request your records from your previous practice. Some practices charge for transferring records, and where they do, that fee applies.

  5. GP consultations are bulk billed for eligible patients with a valid Medicare card. Where a fee applies, reception will tell you the amount before your appointment. See fees

  6. Tell reception when you book if you would like an interpreter. Doctors can use the free TIS National interpreting service for Medicare-funded consultations. Dr Hariharan also speaks Tamil and Telugu.

  7. We welcome feedback. Please talk to reception or ask to speak with Terri, our Practice Manager. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Health Care Complaints Commission on 1800 043 159. Your rights
